Our Software Engineering group has openings for two entry level Programmers. Applicants must have a four-year degree in Computer Science or a three-year CS degree combined with an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics degree. Applicants who have experience developing software in a team environment and with any of the following technologies; Java, C++, Linux, and Eclipse will be given preference. The successful applicant will join one of a number of project teams developing software for systems we provide to our customers. SED software developers are provided with state-of-the-art tools, use agile development methodologies and work in a dynamic team environment. The software we develop encompasses a wide range of functionality including real-time equipment control, embedded databases, graphical user interfaces, microcontroller and DSP firmware. You will get to work with skilled professionals and gain experience in a wide range of different technologies. |

SED offers internship, co-op, and summer positions to select university students each year.
If you are interested in an internship position and you are a third-year University of Saskatchewan student enrolled in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics we encourage you to register with the University of Saskatchewan Student Employment and Career Center. If you are a third-year University of Saskatchewan student majoring in Computer Science we encourage you to register with the Department of Computer Science Internship Coordinator.
If you are interested in a co-op position and you are a second-year or third-year University of Regina student enrolled in Electronic Systems Engineering or Computer Science, we encourage you to register with the University of Regina Co-operative Education office.
If you are interested in a summer position and you are a third-year student in any of the above University of Saskatchewan or University of Regina programs, we encourage you to submit an application. Applications for summer positions should be submitted by the end of February.
